LeAnn Rimes Writes Song About Her Affair With Eddie Cibrian: That's Her Right or So Not Right?

LeAnn Rimes has received lots of negative attention and downright hatred for her very public affair with her now-husband Eddie Cibrian. Rather than avoiding the subject, the country singer has been very open about their relationship and talked about the affair so often, that some have complained she's making it harder than it should be for Cibrian's ex-wfe Brandi Glanville.

Rimes was a guest on The Tonight Show Tuesday night, and as expected, discussed the affair with Jay Leno. Then she performed her latest single "Borrowed," which she revealed is about the relationship and "the torment of falling for a married man." During the interview she revealed that she calls herself pathetic in the song because during that time she was.

Pretty heavy stuff, but what do you think? Is it appropriate for LeAnn Rimes to write a song about her affair with a married man? Musicians do write songs about their own lives after all... Or do you think it's too insensitive and she's flaunting her affair like some are claiming?

    Falling in love with a taken person sounds like something men and women can relate to. Look at the infidelity rate we have in this country. If Carrie can write about her cheating beau and how she smashed up his car, then LeAnn can write about how she fell in love with a married man.

    If Brandi the Bitch can dramatize this crap after 3 years all over the television and internet, then LeAnn should feel free to use her actual talent to let off some steam about what happened. Ms. Glanville makes things hard on herself because she's an attention (and regular) whore. I'm not a LeAnn fan, but I feel pity for her having to deal with Brandi; which should tell anyone how bad of a person Brandi is -- she was the cheated one and still manages to come off looking horrible. Besides, how many songs have come out that deal with past loves and affairs? I mean, from Taylor Swift alone...cripes. Then add Adele's on top of that number, catch my drift?

    It's done all the time, but some singer/songwriters live to regret it. Once you do it you can't take it back. You know the girl on one of Dylan's early album covers? Ballad in Plain D is about the relationship between them, and he said he regretted writing it. IMHO it is one of his best songs, although some people say it is one of his worst. If you are going to do that, don't ever tell anyone who it is about! I didn't!
