'Law & Order' Using Tucson Shooting as a Storyline: Is It Too Soon?

We've all heard the tragic real-life story of how Jared Lee Loughner opened fire in Tucson, Ariz., on January 8, taking the lives of six people and injuring 14 more, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Now, less than four months later, "Law & Order: Los Angeles" is adapting the story to fit an episode of the show.
Though it's commonplace for "Law & Order" to base its episodes on real cases, you'd think they might wait a little longer to emulate such a tragic story that was presented so vividly to the public.
Then again, maybe it will be just the reminder we need.

Prime Time Lime 2011/04/27 14:46:21Yes+3It shows how unimaginative the writers in Hollywood truly are.They cannot think up their own cleaver plots and now have to rely of real stories.






















At least wait until recovery is complete and she is back home with Family.
I hope they at least show that Tucson sheriff for the incredible loser he was during this whole thing - the man was so unprofessional in his comments and conduct - geez!
Last time I checked, first amendment rights were not limited to crime victims.
