Laura Dern Files for Divorce from Ben Harper
Laura Dern has restarted proceedings to divorce Ben Harper nearly two years after the Grammy winner filed to dissolve their marriage, TMZ reports.
The Enlightened
star filed her own divorce papers Friday Los Angeles Superior Court,
seeking primary custody of their children, son Ellery, 10, and daughter
Jaya, 7. She is also requesting spousal support, child support and wants
Harper to pay her attorneys' fees.

Dern,
45, and Harper, 42, married in 2005 after five years of dating. Harper
filed for divorce in October 2010, citing irreconcilable differences. He
had requested joint custody and asked the judge to deny Dern spousal
support.
The couple reportedly tried to reconcile earlier this
year and were photographed out together numerous times. They also
attended January's Golden Globe Awards, where Dern won Best Actress in a
Comedy.
