she was alright at first but in the chorus she sounded more like she was crying out in pain rather than singing. lolziez. and her singing slurs too much for this song. not that she's bad. just that she could have done better for this song.

i just don't like this woman at all. her voice is atrocious and like nails on a chalk board to me. i won't even mention her SNL performance. heart shaped box can't be redone... kurt cobain already mastered it.

The Evanescence cover is a great one

failure... especially because it is live... but it is such a failure, no woman can get away with singing Nirvana(no, not even Evanescence) and this is coming from a female (most guys can't get away with it either)

She is a bloody dreadful singer. She's not really that talented... he fame is bought and paid for by her daddy. At the Isle Of White festival she drew a humongous crowd... the more she sang, the more people left. She ended up with a tiny crowd. She has no charisma, and has no talent.

That said I do like the arrangement of this cover. It works.

Good? He sounds like he's yodeling at times! Wow.... aweful..... nailed the guitar though. Not hard, just chords.... P.S.- Kurt DID hate mainstream music with a passion, but saw no better path to take to be successful like he wanted to be to ensure he never wound up back in Aberdeen. He woulsn't have wanted either of these tools playing Nirvana songs, and Krist and Dave receive pennies for their "contribution" to Nirvana, Cobain estate has an overwhelming majority comptroller portion, thus it's probably not important what the other 2/3's of Nirvana thought or think about anything. I know that sucks to say, but it's true.

Agreed that the other two did help to make it what it was. I loved Nirvana so much that in 96' I bought a 69' Fender Competition Mustang comllete with racing stripes and the matching headstock (as seen in the Teen Spirit video) as well as a 65' Fender Jaguar as seen in Cobain's hands most of the time they toured. Great guitars for garage rock, but not for much else. Expensive, hard to maintain and if something breaks, you gotta question as to if replacing it will kill resale value. I too know much about Nirvana, and as a musician as well, it's hard to listen to things that don't live up to expectation. Sorry about that.

Oh wow, that's cool. Yeah, i mean they're one of my favourite bands but I agree that it can be disappointing - i think Nevermind was their "worst" album of all because it sounds waaay too poppy - which is what Kurt despised right? I still listen to it sometimes you know, and Breed is a really amazing song imo. But you don't have to apologize, i should for sounding like an insane "mUziKal elitist!1!!1" but then again i think i'm far from elitist because i don't judge people on how long they've been a fan or if Smells Like Teen Spirit is the only song they know - if you're a fan, then you're a fan and that's all that matters.
