LMFAO jk. Musical taste is musical taste...personally I'm not a fan but if other ppl are, who am I to judge.
I have nothing positive to say about her anymore :/
Shes just so boring and fake and a complete utter rip off of madonna.
I was a gaga fan since 2006/2007, before she even went blonde.
And then born this way came out. Born this way has to be the most disappointing album of my life. And everything shes done since then has made me see her for what she really is. There is not a genuine bone in her body, everything about her is meticulously manufactured and preconceived, whether by her record label or gaga herself.
And no, marina has never done the decay of the blonde icon thing. She dyed her hair blonde for electra heart because she was fascinated by the iconic imagery associated with famous blonde women.
And gaga and marina aren't even in the same league to me. Marina seems so real and down to earth, and gaga just seems fake and conceited.
Look, I never said she has no talent, she is a great vocalist, an absolutely fantastic performer, and a great song writer (on her good days)
Like I said, I just don't buy what shes selling any more.
I in no way meant to imply that she had no talent and contributed nothing to society, i applaud her for being one of the few mainstream celebrities to really take a stand for gay rights and the outcasts, etc etc
I just grew up. My tastes changed. And then I started to see things differently.
And labels wouldn't back her? If this was true, she would be independent/have no label. But no, she is signed to universal music, one of the largest record companies in the world. They want the $$$$. gaga, despite being controversial, brings them the $$$$. So of course they ar...

And it pretty much all is dance. Her music is more diverse and takes more influence from a larger group of artists then most dance pop but its still just dancepop to me. And its boring lol.
I dunno, i really have nothing to base my opinion off of besides my personal perception of her and her music.
Lady gaga will always feel like a character to me. A character with wasted potential.
Musically, I feel gaga could be doing so much more then she has done with the past 3 records. But instead, it seems like shes just too comfortable being "gaga" and not really branching out at all. I mean how the hell did she go from making kick ass pretty original songs like BDR, Shake ur kitty, Sexy ugly, etc etc to making the trash thats on the fame?
I never really liked the fame. Even when I was a fan.
No one says she has to like completely switch genres or her sound, but I see no growth at all from TFM to BTW.
Her old producer was gonna leak some old demos though, i thought?

Guys a dick, yeah, but i was still so excited to get more demos from that amazing era :(
