Lol. I really don't see how it's not that big of a deal to eat animals but it is to keep their fur. When an animal is being used for meat, you might as well take its hide. You're killing them either way, and human beings do not need meat to live, so meat is not a necessity (I'd have been dead years ago).
But that aside, PETA are a bunch of crazies who don't realize how the animal kingdom works...Why don't they go protest the unnecessary killing of animals by other animals?Don't think it happens that animals kill things without eating them?
That being said, anyone who owns vintage furs, why wouldn't they wear it? Something they inherited from a grandparent, perhaps? Would you rather it sit in a closet, a complete and utter waste, or would you rather it actually be worn, put to use? Seems to me like you'd be honouring the dead animal more if you actually used it for something rather than just throwing it away like a piece of trash.
You do realize that without testing on animals we would not have most of the medicines that we do today.
PETA will have beef with you for swatting a fly...
