Lady Gaga is a "monster" when it comes to Carly Rae Jepsen. Gaga (jokingly?) threatened the "Call Me Maybe" singer on Twitter after Jepsen's hit song surpassed "Born This Way" on the Billboard charts.

"@carlyraejepson (sic) I SEE you just swooped in and broke my BORN THIS WAY record of the most weeks at #1," Gaga tweeted. "DONT GET COMFORTABLE IM COMING FOR YOU."

Jepsen's summer hit is in its seventh week at No. 1 on the charts; "Born This Way" topped the charts for six weeks, E! Online reports. So, can Carly Rae Jepsen really top Gaga for good? Or is the Gags practically pop royalty by now? Whichever pop princess (or monster) you prefer, there's definitely some new competition in the pop world!

I can certainly see how someone would take it the wrong way but I do think she meant it as a joke and friendly competition.
I, for one, was completely and utterly shocked when I heard Carly's song hit number one.
