Lady Gaga is starting a "Body Revolution" -- literally. The Mother Monster has launched a Body Revolution section on her website LittleMonsters.com, meant to "inspire bravery."
Gaga has been under fire recently for gaining an admitted 25 pounds. On the site, the singer posted a picture of herself in her bra and underwear with the caption: "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15."

Now, she wants fans to join in and "celebrate with us your 'perceived flaws'": "Hey Guys its Gaga," she wrote. "Now that the body revolution has begun, be brave and post a photo of you that celebrates your triumph over insecurities."
In a blog post, Gaga explained the motivation for "Body Revolution": "My weight/loss/gain since I was a child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But you have. My boyfriend [Taylor Kinney] prefers me curvier, when I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier then I've ever been. I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size. And I love you, and want you to be proud in any form you may take as well." Do you think she's sending a great message?

- Crische 2012/09/30 19:11:32Yes+2The sooner you stop resenting yourself or individual parts, the better. It is your own fear and resentment that makes you try to cover it up, ignore it and quit using it with your body as a whole.. When you deny and ignore it or yourself you just make the problem worse/manifest it yourself.. It's all in your head, open up and be proud to exist. 13.5 billion years of the universe turning yields YOU. Pretty cool, most people are just blind.reply
- Brian 2012/09/30 14:03:19No+2It's all about self promotion for whatever shelf life Stephanie has left for her persona. She is doing whatever she can to stay relevant to her public, so be it. She is not in my field of view (except in this poll) and I do not seek out her opinions or preferences. At this point, it is some harmless publicity.reply
- Dydy 2012/09/30 04:27:00Yes+1Lady gaga isnt fat, she's gorgeous, and her message is inspiring. However, her fans shouldnt be as bare as her if they decide to post pics..... It's the internet, everyone will see them >.<reply

+1She looks just fine in the photo. Like most insecurities, it is mostly imagined. What she does is her business.reply - Aly Hart 2012/09/29 19:06:45Yes+1Some of the stories on that site are just heartbreaking. How can anyone not support this?reply

- ssmithix 2012/09/29 14:15:02No+1Im tired of reading about her every move. Gaga, the Kardashians, Lohan, Beiber, Kanye - these people are more famous for being famous - or infamous - than for anything they've ever done in their careers. Has it come to this? It's all about the attention and nothing about the talent?reply
- Aly Hart ssmithix 2012/09/29 19:08:00
+1But Gaga actually has talent. Your comment doesn't have anything to do with the point.reply - ssmithix Aly Hart 2012/09/30 03:45:04
Talent is in the eye of the beholder. I think Gaga is all sizzle, no steak. As to the point, it was why does SH keep putting surveys on here for certain people's every move? Who cares?reply - Aly Hart ssmithix 2012/09/30 14:23:09

+2True. Nothing on the internet is as simple as it seems. And isn't it a shame that anywhere kids might go becomes a pervert's paradise.reply - JustineRulz 2012/09/28 19:36:47 (edited)Yes+4Especially since her song Born this way is another way to tell us the same thing. I think the only reason she does the shock rock thing is because she is trying to get us to listen to a few things. Most people don't see enough of the beauty in her tactics, though sometimes she does lay it out a little on the thick side most of the time. But if we opened our eyes a little more, I think she would be a little less out there. Gaga is gorgeous, normal or ab. Though I don't usually enjoy some of her stunts I do understand its just for attention's sake. Her message here is honest and worth taking time to consider. "Love yourself for who you are.reply
- The Sifu 2012/09/28 17:01:46Yes+2Finally, something worthwhile! I'd have followed her a lot closer if I knew she looked like THIS instead of the Bride of Frankenstein as I've usually seen her.reply
- Quazimoto 2012/09/28 13:32:12Yes+4Not a fan, but she looks great.reply
- Dave Ryan Quazimoto 2012/09/28 16:52:25
+5Y'know, as whacked out as she normally looks (blue hair, blue armpit hair!), she's remarkably pretty and natural-looking here, for a photo that's supposed to showcase her insecurity and flaws.reply - john n 2012/09/28 12:33:19 (edited)Yes+5Be who and what you are and enjoy every minute of your life raves or not, living well really is the best revenge. Love me some chunky Gaga!reply
- NZGURL 2012/09/28 12:22:44Yes+2To me her message is really more showing the wonders of modern makeup. Compare the photo here to her music video's etc. It's good to see, as most men don't seem to realize that these high profile woman look like your everyday woman or worse in many cases without their 3 inches of makeup on. So congrats for showing us just how good your makeup is Lady Gaga. (and blond wigs). (and push up bras).reply
- franny2001 2012/09/28 10:39:36Yes+2I think this is truly amazing. One of my daughters struggles with an eating disorder…AWFUL!reply

- Ahmedinestein 2012/09/28 05:39:53No+5Anyone considered the possibility that all this talk about her weight and body image is manufactured to drum up interest in her? She's not been the Press Queen she was a couple years ago, so just maybe....reply
- BabyBear 2012/09/28 05:27:33Yes+2Be happy with who you are!reply
- Taylor 2012/09/28 05:05:15Yes+6It's nice to see a celebrity get down on the level of everyday people. And since her fans are primarily younger women and teenage girls, she's sending a good message about health and acceptance :)reply
- MartelW 2012/09/28 03:39:08No+3Lady Gaga is inconsequential to life.reply
- widgetqueen 2012/09/28 03:26:01Yes+2I think she looks good. As long as she's healthy and happy who cares. Her weight is her own business.reply
- Resp 2012/09/28 03:22:09No+5Lady Gaga needs someone to build "The Institute Of Moronic People" in her honor.reply
- Sarina 2012/09/28 03:14:04Yes+3I think that it is. It is telling all of these young girls who think that being skinny, skinny that it does have to be that way and you can be beautiful and healthy at the same time.reply
