Bill Clinton's birthday was back in August, but this Saturday's "Decade of Difference" fundraiser, featuring an impressive list of big-name performers, also served as a celebration of the former president's 65th. Lady Gaga, who performed "Born This Way," "Bad Romance," and "Edge of Glory" at the event, made sure of it.
When Gaga sang "Bad Romance," she switched out the chorus lyrics to "Bill Romance" and sang the song directly to the former president. However, before the pop diva jumped into it, she referenced the time Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to John F. Kennedy, an event that prompted the president to sarcastically refer to it as a "sweet, wholesome" rendition. It also led the public to infer there was an affair between the two.
Before the event Clinton remarked, "My God. I get Lady Gaga, and I will have a heart attack celebrating my 65th birthday."
Wearing a blonde wig and red lipstick, Gaga told the audience, "Well, I'm having my first real Marilyn moment. I always wanted to have one, and I was hoping that it didn't involve an accident with some pills and a strand of pearls, so here we are." According to reports, Hilary was smiling and clapping along to the music.

Other performers at the event included Stevie Wonder, U2, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Grace Potter, K'Naan, and Juanes. Bono was especially cordial toward Mr. Clinton, citing the former president's work with Ireland as the main reason he wanted to perform at the event. He explained his native country is now "truly at peace, north and south, because of the 42nd president of the United States of America," who he dubbed the "most beloved president since JFK for us Irish."

Regardless of the blond wig she was in no way even close to being Marilyn and she doesn't need to be. She is a much better performer than I expected her to be. It would have been exciting to have been there and it is no wonder that she stole the show.
And yes Hilary had as much fun with this as did everyone.
At least with Lady Gaga, he only bit his own lip.
I miss Amy Winehouse.
Ok, lady gaga is not: untalented, fake, attention crazy or a man. Im not her biggest fan but i know how to respect real talent. Shes fkin off her rocker and thats why we love her.
Some people just CANNOT accept the fact that a person can be so looney because its who they are.
For those of you who think GaGa has no talent, lets see you get up there in front of a million people and do something. I'll bet you couldn't even remember your name you'd be so scared!
