Lady Gaga Gets a Concussion, Responds to Madonna: Is She Having a Bad Week?

I hope it gets better for her. I think Madonna just hit menopause.

got a concussion and still finnished the show for her fans.. what a true person. i have infinite respect for her. the show must go on, shes a true preformer.

But good for her, the show went on, because she must not have been seriously hurt...
her managers wouldn't let that happen..she is to valuable...and she's not stupid..

I love Gaga. I'm not obsessed with her, and I only like a few of her songs...but I really like how she handles things and isn't afraid of being herself...no matter who comments and what they say.

You gotta appreciate somebody that works hard instead of feeling entitled, that's all I'm saying! You go Stef!

She just gained major points with me. And I already liked her. Instead of firing back at Madonna she just let everybody know that she just doesn't like being made fun of and it makes she her feel bad--just like it would with anybody else.

And then the concussion. Yikes, that looked like it hurt. But she kept on going anyway, because the show must go on.

Madonna is just a sad old lady wanting to relive her glory days by making Gaga make herself feel bad. I'm gonna side with Lady Gaga this time around and Madonna should be ashamed of herself for picking on a young entertainer trying to making it big. She went through that once, out of anyone she should understand.

It can always be worse.

1: Wow, that looked like it hurt. Especially how she flinched and instinctively rubbed her head. I kinda felt it. Getting hit on the head hurts. And if she has a concussion, well that must have been an extra hard hit. Plus, the fact that she just kept going afterwords, that's awesome.

2: I for one like Madonna. But, her age is starting to show. She isn't Cher. She can't seem young and mature at the same time anymore. She's been pulling a lot more stunts lately. And going after Lady Gaga, was just rude. Especially after the same thing happening with her and Elton John. It's rude. She should also know who's side we're going to take. She needs to take a step back and reevaluate if she can continue the way she's going.

3: Lady Gaga really showed maturity the way she didn't fire back a bunch of expletives and insults. There are a LOT of people who would have. She should be proud of herself, because everyone else is.

4: In conclusion, all of this does amount to a pretty crappy week. Just saying. If she makes it through without a breakdown or a bunch of rants, then she's proved herself the best of the bunch.

Everyday people face worse than this on a daily basis.

I beg to disagree. Most people don't get a concussion on a daily basis.

There are people who are physically bullied or even assaulted or abused on a daily basis. There are people who are verbally and emotionally abused, bulled, and tormented on a daily basis. There are people who get far worse than a concussion on a regular basis who face more hatred, ignorance, and intolerance every time they wake up in the morning till they go to sleep at night.

Let's not even get started on the people who face poverty, starvation, and/or homelessness everyday all over the world. Or soldiers serving overseas and on the front lines who have to face down the barrel of a gun on a regular basis. There are definately countless people who face far worse every day.

EDIT: And yet here we (the media) are making a big deal over Lady Gaga getting a concussion like it's the worst thing to ever happen to the world. In the grand scheme of things she's got nothing on what so many people have to deal with.

While I agree with you, it's a huge overgeneralization to say that "everyday people face much worse on a daily basis." I don't. You don't. And I'm pretty sure that if you got a concussion and someone bitched you out for everyone to hear, you'd say you were having a bad week.

cuncussion = bad week. Madonna is great whatever keep going till you drop dead on stage. I mean don't expect to be relevant, but sure whatever. Elton John can keep playing and he's 64 still selling out big arenas. I don't wanna see his boobs though.

Madonna's big-headed attitude is the reason I can't stand the whench. NOBODY should want to be like her. She was good for 10 minutes back in the day, now..she is way overdue for a hang up.
