And sounds like rather than complain, she's getting up and moving forward.
As for Madonna - she's in a downward spiral that hit the bottom and then broke through and kept going.

This last week just hasn't been going Lady Gaga's way, but she's powering through like a champ. The pop star was hit in the head with a metal pole during a performance of "Judas" in New Zealand on Sunday. Hard. Later on during the show, she told the audience, "I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show." Check out the raw footage below.
But that wasn't all. She finally responded to Madonna's anti-Gaga tirade (Madge did a medley of Gaga's "Born This Way" and her own "Express Yourself" and chanted "she's not me" at the end of the song.) Gaga said in a speech on Thursday, "that doesn't make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I'm not being a good human being ... I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music ... things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that's what makes 'Born this Way' so relevant for me." Do you think Gaga's going through a rough week?

I have so much respect for Lady Gaga. First, she soldiers on with a concussion to finish her performance. Then she responds to Madonna’s snarky antics by keeping it classy.
Madonna and Lady Gaga do have much in common. They are both Italian Americans from the North Eastern United States. They are both from affluent families. They both have taken ownership of their own sexuality. They both use their music to challenge our ideas about what is acceptable. Regardless, there are differences between the two performers.
The music created by these two artists sound distinct and different to me. I do not have the technical expertise to articulate how the music of Lady Gaga is unlike the music of Madonna. Hopefully, someone who does have this type of expertise can explain it.
Ultimately, I really love the music created by both of these women. Madonna’s snipe seems sad and bitter. I am reminded of Elvis who was jealous of the Beetles in the late sixties. I hope that both artists decide to focus on simply creating more art.
Ethnically, Lady Gaga is an Italian from New York.

Regardless, I will get over the fact that you want a total stranger to suffer. Likewise, I suspect that Lady Gaga herself will somehow manage to survive your ill wishes.
I am going to end my involvement in this discussion by wishing for you and yours the very best that life has to offer. May you enjoy a life filled with sunshine and rainbows and shooting stars and gentle showers. You may have the final word on this exchange.
