Lady Gaga Gets a Concussion, Responds to Madonna: Is She Having a Bad Week?

This last week just hasn't been going Lady Gaga's way, but she's powering through like a champ. The pop star was hit in the head with a metal pole during a performance of "Judas" in New Zealand on Sunday. Hard. Later on during the show, she told the audience, "I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show." Check out the raw footage below.

But that wasn't all. She finally responded to Madonna's anti-Gaga tirade (Madge did a medley of Gaga's "Born This Way" and her own "Express Yourself" and chanted "she's not me" at the end of the song.) Gaga said in a speech on Thursday, "that doesn't make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I'm not being a good human being ... I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music ... things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that's what makes 'Born this Way' so relevant for me." And sounds like rather than complain, she's getting up and moving forward.

As for Madonna - she's in a downward spiral that hit the bottom and then broke through and kept going.

This woman (Lady Gaga) is "Phenomenal" as a entertainer,she don't need to answer to Madonna. Madonna have had her turn as being the virgin in the 80's as time goes on things change,step aside and give Lady Gaga her props! Hope Lady Gaga feel better and wishing her a speedy recovery! But she's determined to continue working on her art. I think the Madonna stuff is just trashy. Madonna needs to act her age. Stop flashing people her crusty nipples and let go of yesteryear. I'm not a huge fan of Gaga's but I think she was very classy about the whole thing.

Hitting the head thing was unfortunate but the junk with Madonna, that is just catty jealousy. Madonna can't let anyone else have the limelight? I think GaGa's a little crazy, but Madonna is just plain, I hate to say it, a hypocrite. She is supposed to be so spiritual now but she exposes her breast? There is nothing spiritual about her. GaGa, do your thing and don't worry about OLDER women begrudging you success.
