SNL will somehow survive... though I'm not sure if SNL has been "alive" in years. I don't understand it. They are pretty far from the quality of this

I think they can survive, everytime a star talent would leave I would think, "man that's it, nothing else is gonna come through and top that", and thankfully I can say I have been wrong. You might not have an all star cast but you do recognize the ones that do shine through and can save a skit like no other.

Right now my favs are Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis. If they leave, I'm not sure if there is anyone there now that can "step up" in my opinion, but that doesn't mean that the show won't be able to find someone. Have faith, when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler left, I thought it was the end for a while.

    Just give it some time;)

Actually the show has been on a steady decline even with them there. I didn't honestly know it was even relevant anymore. Maybe them leaving will be a good thing.

SNL could probably survive nuclear war. It's like a cockroach that way. It's lost far more talented people in the past and survived. Hell it survived the Robert Downey Jr/Anthony Michael Hall season.

They may survive but it wont be me watching it. Kristen Wiig is the only reason I watch that show anymore.

Bigger stars than these three have left and the show has lasted for three decades.

I miss the SNLs of the late '80s and early '90s. Not just because I wax nostalgic for that era, but because I remember actually laughing. I've rewatched those shows to make sure I'm not misremembering it unfairly rosily, and I still laugh out loud today at those old SNLs. The last decade, SNL hasn't been bearable to sit through. The scripts are not in the least bit funny and where the actors used to actually know their lines, they now spend the entire show gazing off in the distance at cue cards instead of at the person to whom they are speaking. There are some funny cast members, but they would be funnier without SNL.

SNL hasn't been funny in a loooooong time. Samberg is funny - at times - but the rest of the cast is an average bunch of no names. The a real shake up and maybe even some better writers.

SNL survived losing Radner, Belushi, Aykroyd, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey, Tina Fey and many, many others. It will survive losing these folks, too. It may not be as good, but in my opinion, it never was after the original cast members left...

Bill Murry , Mike Myers , Family unfriendly Eddie Murphy . Dan Aykroud , Chris Rock and CHhevy Chase if SNL can go on with out these people ... I am sure they can live with out these people.
