When you think of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, Kirstie Alley is not the first person you imagine walking down the runway.

But, on Tuesday, she did. And she kind of rocked it, if you ask us.

The "Dancing With the Stars" alum -- who has recently lost about 100 pounds due to all that dancing, mind you -- wore a larger-than-life, navy blue gown by fashion designer pal Zang Toi.

"I wanted something really beautiful," the fiesty actress told Entertainment Weekly. "He just has the most beautiful clothes, period."

We do have to say, the gown is pretty gorgeous.

I have to give her credit. She lost 100 lbs and I think that's a big plus for her in achieving this.

She always had a beautiful body when she slimmed down and her personality is fairly awesome too. Hard to age gracefully when a 60 year old looks like that! When are we allowed to be old ladies?? (NOT complaining. . . just wondering.. . . I mean when you think of a 60 year old woman does a woman looking like THAT pop into your head??) I guess todays OLD is 80(+)

I'm afraid for her. My friend in Memphis lost 100lbs. She looked like 1/4 of herself. I didn't recognize her at my niece's wedding. She looked sensational. In less than 1 month she quietly died in her sleep. Kirstie is suffering. The body can only take so much. She may be the Amy Winehouse of dieting.

Good for her! I'm very proud of her for losing nearly 100lbs. Thats no easy accomplishment...That dress is ...interesting. Not sure I would wear it, but its kinda pretty

Kirstie is a great example of "true grit". She had some rough times, and I think she did a wonderful job on dancing on the stars. To be her age and do what she did took a lot of talent and nerve. I hope to see her in more tv and/or movie roles.
