Kim Kardashian has a new companion -- and we're not talking about Kanye West. The reality star has been tweeting pics of her new Teacup Persian cat, named Mercy (which happens to be the title of Kanye's first single from his new album).
And expect to see a lot more of the fluffy white kitty -- at least if you plan to watch "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami." "You'll be seeing a lot of her on the show ... Kourtney and Kim Take Miami!" Kim writes in her blog. "We're both so excited to be here and looking forward to an amazing few months ahead. Also there is NO such thing as a Tea cup persian- it's a kitten and it will grow into an adult cat. Anyone advertising a tea cup cat/pig for sale has either nutritionally deprived the animal or it is a juvenile. A cat CAN have dwarfism or in the case of the munchkin breed- shortened limbs caused by selective breeding practices. Also, the tea cup cat may also be a runt. The thought of someone intentionally adopting a potentially starved animals is disgusting. Some people intentionally breed smaller cats to end up with a weak and illness prone cat with 'stunted growth' due to selective breeding.
