Kim Kardashian Is Filing for Divorce: No Duh or No Way?

Well, that was short-lived. Just last week, we asked if you thought Kim Kardashian's marriage would last what with all the negative media attention and Kim Kardashian being...well, Kim Kardashian.

Turns out, the answer to that question is a big, fat, NO. Because the reality star has decided to file for divorce on Monday October 31, just 72 days after her very public, multi-million dollar wedding with New Jersey Jets player Kris Humphries.

Though the media has been covering this "marriage-already-on-the-rocks" story for quite some time, nothing seemed to be confirmed by a reputable source until today. Ryan Seacrest, who produces "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and their many spin-offs on E!, tweeted a confirmation this morning. "Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning," Seacrest tweeted. "I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few minutes."

Let's be real here: are any of you that surprised? According to our last poll, 40 percent of you actually thought this whole wedding was a publicity stunt to begin with. And we have to say, we kind of agree. Love her or not, you've got to admit, the girl loves publicity.

One "insider," however, told US Weekly that the marriage wasn't working because "Kris is not drinking the Kardashian Kool-Aid." Thank God for that.

    Kim Kardashian is a trashy plasticized egotist. Nobody really cares what she does about her divorce, new fiance, potential babies, or what new surgeries she's planning. Nor do we need to see her in her transparent rear-ended outfits showing off her huge posterior, nor dresses cut to the navel (see above photo) with her overstuffed saline boobs exposed. So now she's going to be a blonde to see if that will get any attention. Unfortunately, she's no Beyonce. Just the same ol' boring woman we see advertising herself on Twitter and trying to get noticed. Real actors don't have to do the things she does. Her 15 minutes are up. Go away, all things Kardashian. Please.

    Did you not see the bit where she REFUSED to move to Minnesota where her husband's career was? That's just the beginning of the end....and if you saw even the first part of her wedding show...you would know it wasn't going to last...I didn't even bother watching the second half because the Kardashian family made me sick to be acting that way.

    she's divorcing him because he told her like it was and it made me laugh!!! I liked the guy honestly, he said what he thought and that was refreshing in that family...and like I said I loved watching him tell Kim that she wasn't all that...LOL I will miss him...

    Man, I wish I had millions of dollars to spend on a wedding only to get a divorce 72 days later. What a publicity stunt. I'm all for people spending their money how they want, but I think that trip to Africa might do her some good, just to see how much good million of dollars can do.
