At the recent E3 convention a blockbuster game for the Nintendo 3DS was revealed. That game was "Kid Icarus: Uprising." Reporters are saying that the 3D effect you get when playing this game is like a whole new gaming experience, and that the graphics, gameplay, and environments are sublime.
A new Kid Icarus has been years in the making. Releasing it on the Nintendo 3DS is an interesting choice, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I've played it through and through, and I must say, the storyline had me glued, especially with the sudden surpises and neat twists, the action was always frantic and rather Sin and Punishment meets Ninja Gaiden-y. And the on rails sections were more enjoyable than S&P; in my opinion. The graphics of course were great for a handheld, and I felt totally bad-applepie playing as Pit, and slightly moreso as Dark Pit (slight spoiler there). The Multiplayer online wasn't a letdown either. The game superceded all expectations.reply - Motherf$cker 2012/02/24 00:46:25

I love Nintendo because it's fun for the whole family but most people are into the Xbox 360 these days. I myself am mainly a PS3 player and the only thing I'll play on my wii are Guitar Hero Games. Mario Galaxy 2 looks great though...reply

Very true. The 3DS also has a lot of competition now that the iPad is out. I'll definitely play Kid Icarus, but I'm not sure it's gonna be that big.reply
