It is most definitely not a sunny day on "Sesame Street." In fact, the dark cloud that started hovering over Kevin Clash’s head last week, just dumped a career-changing down pour all over him. The man who gave voice to Elmo on "Sesame Street" resigned Tuesday after allegations emerged that the legendary puppeteer had sexual relations with yet another young man when he was still a teenager.

Last week, Sheldon Stephens stepped forward and alleged that when he was just 15 years old, he had inappropriate encounters with Clash. The puppet master claimed they had engaged in a consensual adult relationship and took a brief leave from his children’s television gig to clear up the matter. After signing a $125,000 settlement, Stephens recanted his statement. But the now 24-year-old quickly changed his mind yet again and said that he felt pressured to cut the deal.
Now to add fuel to the fire, Cecil Singleton, has filed a lawsuit that claims that he met Clash on a gay phone chat line when he was just 15. And with that, Clash was compelled to end his 28-year association with the children's show that made him a star. Of course, if the accusations prove to be true, that could be the least of his problems. What do you think? Do you believe the claims against Elmo?

because I don't know the evidence either way!
INNOCENT~UNTIL PROVEN 'GUILTY'!
BUT, IT'S NOT SOUNDING GOO!
Second, I find it a little fishy that guys waited seven years to make their allegations.
Elmo is an innocent bystander with a beautiful giggle.
Do I believe it? I don't know at this point. There is truth to the adage that where there is smoke there is fire. However the first case was settled and now there is a greed factor involved. The second one, he was 15 in an adult chat room? This stinks of "bring the man down" ~ opportunism.
A man's life is at stake here so the truth has to come out somehow. I mean we are not talking Petraeus and Broadwell here.
SO throw them into the bull ring and let them settle it out amongst themselves. But for heaven's sake do not associate the peoples' beloved puppet character Elmo with sexual deviancy!
