Everyone who’s ever followed the life of a reality star knows it has its ups and downs. Perhaps this is most true for the Kardashian family, who are constantly being bashed in the tabloids for quickie marriages, even faster separations, never-ending divorces and the general fact that they are famous for little more than being famous.
It can’t be easy sometimes for Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob to carry the family name with them everywhere they go. So it’s no surprise that their younger half-sisters from dad Bruce Jenner, Kendall and Kylie, are more than happy to bare the name Jenner instead.

Although their mom, Kris, once went so far as to suggest that she might start going by Kardashian to cash in on her own daughters’ brand, the 15-old and 17-year-old siblings recently told Glamour magazine, “We're full-throttle Jenners! We don't have any desire to be Kardashians.”
After all, they don’t really need any more attention. Not only have they taken on a bigger part in the family’s reality series over the years, but they’ve both started to build solid modeling careers all their own.

With that in mind, it seems smart to avoid the extra scrutiny of being a Kardashian, since they get all the perks and can fly just a tiny bit under the radar. But if their half-siblings are sensitive, they might look upon the comment as a diss. What do you think? Is their statement right on or rude?

of Jenner, if they choose to so.
Absolutely great. This means we may not have more of the Kardashians running around.
