Katy Perry has had a charmed life. Not only is the 27-year-old rich, beautiful and talented with a body to die for, her "Teenage Dream" album matched Michael Jackson's Hot 100 record for the most number one songs off a single album. Nevertheless, she's kinda sick of being famous.
Asked by Teen Vogue if she ever sees herself "getting tired of being famous," Katy responds, "I'm tired of being famous already! But I'm not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It's quite a delicate creature -- it's a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you. I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible -- when I meet fans and they're crying, I'll say, 'Calm down, there's nothing to cry about.'"
"Disgusting," eh? Well, in other parts of the interview, Katy seems refreshingly down to earth. "I don't need to grind it into anyone's head that I'm popular. If you like my music, great, and if you don't, whatever. I'm going to keep making it either way," she says.
And her success comes with hard work, which she wants to reveal in her upcoming movie. "I think sometimes [people] look at me and wonder, How is it possible that she continues to have this kind of success? Why are the stars so aligned for her? But, while that is a factor, it's not the whole story. I also work my tail off!"

Katy Perry+22Tired of the fame? Really? And that's why you wear over the top outfits and are still producing music videos? Just quit if you don't like it, people WILL forget you, you aren't these guys:

Maybe if you REALLY hated the fame you'd stop signing contracts and producing records to the masses. Pull a Zach De La Rocha, (Rage Against the Machine), and stop making music? Or hell, pull a Kurt Cobain.
And it's not like she is making music with being artistic in mind. It's mostly mindless garbage. Actually astoundingly un-thought provoking music.
Too long;Didn't read- Everything she does is to satisfy her need for attention. Even if saying ' I don't like being famous' will gain more fame, she'll say it.
PS- Even Bieber has had ridiculous accusations and potential law suits against him as a result of his fame.
but there should be an 'all of the above' button, because if you are going to start acting or singing then you should know what you are getting yourself into and therefore not complain when it happens.
Fame can be a hard one to go through especially if privacy is not respected
From that list & then some ... they all need their quiet time
P.s You say paparazzi is bad your one too just saying
Privacy is a right and you can invoke that right whenever you so choose. Of course, it's impossible to take things back, but if you say, "Leave me alone." I personally would expect to be left alone. That or someone is going to get a baseball bat around their heads.
A stalker is a stalker. It doesn't matter whether they're the creepy guy down the street or a paid professional stalker. They are still stalkers and I don't agree with them. It's not in my interest and I very much doubt that finding out the colour of lady gaga's panties is a matter of life or death for society as we know it today.
Public Interest...hah /rant.
Novelty wears off...quickly.
