Katy Perry has had a charmed life. Not only is the 27-year-old rich, beautiful and talented with a body to die for, her "Teenage Dream" album matched Michael Jackson's Hot 100 record for the most number one songs off a single album. Nevertheless, she's kinda sick of being famous.
Asked by Teen Vogue if she ever sees herself "getting tired of being famous," Katy responds, "I'm tired of being famous already! But I'm not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It's quite a delicate creature -- it's a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you. I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible -- when I meet fans and they're crying, I'll say, 'Calm down, there's nothing to cry about.'"
"Disgusting," eh? Well, in other parts of the interview, Katy seems refreshingly down to earth. "I don't need to grind it into anyone's head that I'm popular. If you like my music, great, and if you don't, whatever. I'm going to keep making it either way," she says.
And her success comes with hard work, which she wants to reveal in her upcoming movie. "I think sometimes [people] look at me and wonder, How is it possible that she continues to have this kind of success? Why are the stars so aligned for her? But, while that is a factor, it's not the whole story. I also work my tail off!"

Katy Perry+22Tired of the fame? Really? And that's why you wear over the top outfits and are still producing music videos? Just quit if you don't like it, people WILL forget you, you aren't these guys:

I actually feel quite sorry for Robert Pattinson. He's publicly spoken about how he hates the Twilight movies and books. Originally he only meant to do an indie film, which was what Twilight was meant to be. Unfortunately for him, it backfired and he has Twitard fangirls.
All I can say is I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Jake Abel as he'll be appearing in The Host. I loved him as Luke Castellan (Percy Jackson) even though the film was awful, and he also did Adam Winchester (Supernatural) really well. If I have to sit through screaming Twitards who only go and see the next PJO movie because Jake is in it and he was in something Stephenie Meyer related, then yes. I will hurt someone.
My suggestion, deal with it.
If you cant handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.
She, LAD GAGA, searched HIGH & LOW for a MAN to
PROMOTE HER TO FAME; when SHE'S FAMOUS, SHE STOLE HIS WORK &
DUMPED HIM. That's what HIS LAWSUIT CLAIMS! http://www.v4orkut.com/greeti...
Prostitution maybe.
you don't even KNOW HER PERSONALLY???
You seem to be very sheltered if you think her music is great.
Her recent songs are crap, I liked the songs before she became famous like brown eyes that had the resemblance of a normal human voice and somewhat made sense.
new songs are crap imo. but that's probably part of the reason i enjoyed her concert, she performed mostly her old songs. The woman is talented, she sings well, dances okay (at least she tries), and plays the piano well. Im not that fond of her, but i still stick to my word when i say she's amazingly talented. btw i like "Brown Eyes" too :)
