Say what you will about John Mayer, he certainly has a way with the ladies. The infamous lothario appears to have bagged another bodacious beauty in Katy Perry.

Perry, 27, was hanging with Mayer, 34, in West Hollywood back on June 19, a spy tells Us Weekly. "They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!" the witness says.

Then the couple was photographed together for the first time in L.A. on Wednesday night, after having dinner together at the trendy Chateau Marmont, an observer tells Us Weekly. During the meal, Mayer and Perry were reportedly "holding hands across the table" and kissing. "They're just hooking up right now," a source tells the mag. "It's not serious -- yet!"

Perry, as you probably know, recently finalized her divorce from British funnyman Russell Brand. Mayer is infamous for having dated (and dumped) such stars as Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson.

I don't really even like him that much but I swear all the women of Hollywood seem to have the pretentious delusion that it's always their prerogative to end the the relationship on THEIR terms. When she CHEATS...that is not what I'm talking about at all and you know that. When she dumps a guy for NO reason it's all "oh she's just doing what makes her happy and she felt she needed to move on." When a guy dumps a girl it's "he was just being a dog and a douche and playing her the whole time!"

It's a ridiculous double standard and you know it.

There's a difference between dumping one person for a good reason, and constantly using people over & over, like Mayer does. He basically just takes a bit out of these women, chews them up, spits 'em out, and hunts for fresh meat. Maybe women don't get as much negative attention for this because there aren't many of them that constantly use men. List a few maneaters (female players) and I'll give you my feedback.

Well, I can't really say whether they are doing it for a good reason or not most of the time because I'm not them. But you can't really determine if he has a good reason for his actions, either.

I'm sure there are MANY women that use men, especially in Hollywood, but you will never hear the story from this angle.

Yes, I'm sure that there are lots of women that use men, but why should these girls (John Mayer's gfs) have to pay for someone else's actions? I believe in karma too, but only if the person that caused harm gets the payback. So I don't think it's refreshing to see these ladies being used. But anyways, a guy that is in & out of relationships is called a dog; a girl that is in & out of relationships is called a whore. So I don't think there's a double standard here.
