Bad role model alert: Katy Perry was seen puffing on a cigarette outside Hollywood's Arclight movie theater, The Daily Mail reports. Tsk, tsk ...

Perry, 27, was reportedly hanging out with two of her girlfriends, including "Raising Hope" actress Shannon Woodward, wearing a low-cut jumper. Like other mere mortals, she reportedly bought a tub of popcorn to snack on during the movie.

But why are you smoking, Katy? Don't you know that it's bad for your looks and your singing voice, not to mention your legions of young fans? Or do you think Katy's bad habit is none of our business?

-___- It's no one's business. It's one damn cigarette. I'm sure she's not the only celebrity who has done this. It doesn't make her a "Bad Influence"... I mean, i hate smoking but I don't her for doing it. I love her music and I love her. She's amazing and very talented. I'm not gonna hate her for smoking one damn cigarette... >.>

Now if she endorsed smoking, then that would be bad... But she didn't so...

She is a regular person, just like us. Just because she is a "celeb" doesn't mean we should think any lower of her. I pass people smoking everyday and don't think anything of it.

Yes, its a bad thing to do, but in reality, TONS of people doit! And I bet you're like, Well kids look up to her! And.....They also look up to parents who smoke! Or friends, or stuff like that! And plus, DOESNT MATTER!!! THEIR LIFE< NOT OURS!

I now regonized what a horrible person I am. I want to change. I want to become a better person. I behaved so badly and heartless, that I can´t bear it any more. The first good sign was that I can cry now, because in former times I was so hearless and cold-blooded that I could not cry.

Good way to screwup her voice with the cigarettes, but when all is said and done none of our business. Why does the media keep saying the celebs are role models? They are not. They sing, or act or dance, other than that they are not special.

People today rely on media and famous people to serve as role models to our children. Sometimes, even to ourselves. What should be happening, is people taking responsibility for the horrible examples that THEY set for their children. It is, after all, the way you choose to raise your children, and the lack of your guidance that makes them corrupt. NOT social media and famous people. If you don't like the message a star is sending to your children, don't ALLOW that kind of media in your home. That being said, the tighter you hold the reigns, the more rebellion you will experience. Teaching the difference between admiring talent and idolizing people is far more effective.
