Scientology is a cult, not a religion...
So yes, Catholicism is definitely better. Better still, Catholicism (and I'm agnostic, raised Protestant) is a Christian faith which actually recognizes science (i.e. they accept evolution as factual science).

Call it another victory for Katie Holmes ... Suri Cruise will start school in September at Manhattan's Convent of the Sacred Heart, a fancy-shmancy private all-girls school in New York City, E! News reports.

At the $38,000-a-year school, the previously home-schooled Suri will attend Catholic mass every Thursday. Past graduates of the elite school include Lady Gaga, Nicky Hilton and Caroline Kennedy.
Clearly, mama Katie Holmes, who reportedly got primary custody of the 6-year-old in the divorce, is calling the shots here. Papa Tom Cruise's religion, Scientology, seems to be completely off the menu. Holmes was raised Catholic, and so, in fact, was Cruise. Do you think the school is a good choice for Suri Cruise?

-Of course, that's always been true. Many people will fake their religion to gain power, influence, and wealth. That's why it takes a lot of insight to see a real Christian (Theodore Roosevelt) from a "political Christian" (Obama).
-At least one news source claims he is an Atheist so far. None claim that he was a Christian to say the least.
"also christians in some places like africa are still killing people like crazy now."
-Statistically speaking, that's probably true, but at least I don't have to worry about being shot up by a Christian when I go to a Batman movie.
No matter what religion Holmes is, although I'll heavily wager that it's Atheist like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were (the murderers from the Columbine Massacre), I hate him and believe he deserves the death penalty.
Something well known to be anti-Christian and anti-Conservative.
I'm not sure what's better, a crazy cult where washed up celebrities go as they can't act anymore, or religion headed by a guy that used to be in the Hitler youth...
Here is an interesting article about "Misleading Statistics" which says "Polls can easily be rigged to get a desired answer by the way the questions are phrased." http://www.truthpizza.org/log... This poll is a perfect example of that. Being that it was created by SH themselves - makes if particularly shameful.
Either way - I will answer the question:
I don't know enough about the quality of Scientology schools to comment, but I sent a message to my SH friend who knows about this and she e-mailed me the following "I don't even know of any "Scientology" schools for 5 year olds. Scientologists may send their kids to public schools, and when they are of age where they can read and study - they may attend Scientology classes at their nearest church. Some Scientologists send their young children to accredited private schools that use study methods by Hubbard - but they don't teach the religion of Scientology. They teach reading, writing and arthmetic, history, science, etc. like any other school. There might be other types of ...

Based on her response - this entire poll is based on a fallacy - and obviously rigged.
As to a Cathic school education - I have heard horror stories though by those educated in strict Catholic schools - but to be fair - it all depends on the school. As long as she gets a well-rounded education with good academic basics, she should be fine.
