In what may have been the fastest divorce in Hollywood history, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have already reached a settlement, just two weeks after Katie filed for the big D. To hear what Katie's attorney had to say about it, wait for the :15 mark in the video below!
As for Cruise, his attorney Dennis Wasser told People, "All the lawyers and the parties are happy that it's done, the deal was closed and we wish everyone well." TomKat's reps even came together for a joint statement regarding the couple's 6-year-old daughter Suri, who will reportedly live primarily with Katie, while Tom Cruise gets generous visitation rights.
"We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents." So is the phrase "respective beliefs" a reference to Cruise's religion, Scientology? We're thinking it is... How about you?

Seriously, you don't know these people, you just know what the media has told you and what they want for their image. Anything could have caused the divorce.

Scientology is completely false .
A science ficition writer created the religon.....come on folks..!
Case in point is their statement: "We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests." Bull-puckey. What's in the best interest of their child "as parents" is them working on their marriage, staying committed TO EACH OTHER--regardless of their differences. Name any two people who agree on everything. Do not exist. Mature, committed people stay married because they are not looking for excuses to take the easy road out, realizing they there will always be differences in every relationship--especially marriage.
Love is a CHOICE, not a feeling. "Falling in love" is a myth and does not exist. Same goes for "falling OUT of love". You do not fall in or out of love; rather, you CHOOSE to either start loving someone or stop loving someone. But it is a CHOICE, not a random "fuzzy feeling of cosmic vibes".
Grow up.
They all serve to steer people around like sheep and they all offer a way for their proponents to keep well fed without having to perform in an actual job which is productive to society.
There's no difference in the first witch doctor to come up with the idea and the present day thieves who like to fornicate with children.
