Pregnancy rumors about the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, have been circulating ever since she married Prince William in April 2011. However, now it looks like Kate’s former roommate Jessica Hay has given away the surprise for a special royal announcement. In an interview with New Idea magazine, Hay reveals that Will and Kate are “planning to make an announcement in December,” and that they are “focused on starting a family.”

She also revealed that this is a discussion that the royal couple has been having in depth for a long time, saying that “They’ve discussed it endlessly and don’t want to be older parents,” and that “it seems very traditional, but of course they’ll be happy with boys or two girls, they don’t want more.”

The couple apparently put plans for a family aside as they faced a busy year following their wedding, thanks in part to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. But now things have settled, it looks like the rumor mill is back in force. Do you believe the rumors this time?

It's possible. And if so, that would be good. Keeping the generation gap to a minimum
can be quite beneficial to the royal family. HRM Queen Elizabeth and HRH Prince Phillip
both deserve to be great grandparents while they are still alive.

I believe Kate was already pregnant during the Queen's party and was planning on announcing it then, but the Queen didn't want her to take her "spotlight" so she made them hold it off until later (that old hag). So I guess NOW they are going to announce it since miss Big and Mighty Old has had her big day.

These rumors have been circulating for so long, that she'd be on her third kid by now if the first ones were true. As long as she's been married and as thinly built as she is, along with her tendency to go up and down in weight, I'm just going to assume she's sterile until she pops one out. Of course the kid'll probably be 6 or 7 years old by the time I hear about it.

Sooner or later I'm sure she will be though. I bet she gets a huge kick out of this stuff. She is probably like, "I'm going to eat a huge dinner and go out tomorrow and then watch the pregnancy rumors fly." Or she wears baggy clothes or stuffs a small pillow down her shirt just to have fun with the press. Oh never mind, strike the part about a huge dinner ;).
