Kate Middleton Leaves Hospital: Will She Be Bombarded With Baby Talk Now?

Kate Middleton has finally been discharged from King Edward VII Hospital in London, after she was admitted earlier in the week because she was suffering from acute morning sickness. She emerged from the hospital Thursday, clutching a bouquet of flowers, and assured waiting photographers that she was feeling "much better" since her pregnancy was announced on Monday.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace has told Us Weekly that "the Duchess of Cambridge has been discharged from the King Edward VII Hospital and will now head to Kensington Palace for a period of rest. Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment The Duchess has received."

During her stay, Kate received frequent visits from her husband Prince William, as well her mother Carole and her siblings Pippa and James. Do you think the Duchess will be bombarded with all things baby, now that she's out of the hospital and even more in the public eye?

I'm not saying yes because I support the monarchy. I'm saying yes because the monarchy followers are crazed. Look Kate broke a nail, look Kate has a new dress on, look Kate was half nekkid on the beach, look Kate is pregnant. All of these examples makes me ask...WHO CARES? You would think more pressing and important issues would be on the minds of Brits, like how much the criminal monarchy steals from the taxpayer, or the deteriorating state of the British economy, or the tripling of tuition for students in the UK. Nope! Things are falling apart and the only thing on the minds of the monarchy followers is Kate's pregnancy, or the boil on her butt, or the color of her nail polish.

Not much more important in that country than to be carrying the future monarch! Poor kid, her 'morning sickness' is back again. I hope she and the baby make it through this ordeal safe and sound.

They need to leave her alone. She is finally getting better, and all the hoopla is eventually going to get to her. I admire her for her grace and consideration of everybody and everything considering some of these well wishers are annoying to say the least. Hopefully she'll be doing ok and that the baby will be fine.

But she will have one break many of us mothers would love. She wont have too many total strangers try to touch her baby bump. That used to kill me. Total strangers seeming to think it ok to touch me when under any other circumstances they wouldnt. But she will surely get as much if not more "advice" than most get so it may come out the same on the irritation scale!

But that is the good part of being pregnant. Loved talking baby when I was preggers. Hated when anyone thought that it was perfectly acceptable to touch my belly though.

BUT, prayers to the family of the nurse who was tricked by the radio DJ into an interview, that poor person KILLED themself. Ugh.

    Exactly.

I was SO irritating when strangers would just feel like they had a right to touch my belly.

OMG, get your hands OFF me. Bizarre how a pregnancy leads to strangers MAULING you.

Pregnancy & babies are always a wonderful, hopeful time. I hope Kate is not one who suffers from 'morning sickness' through out her pregnancy. I hope her pregnancy is joyful & healthy. Royals always have several names. I'd like Diana Elizabeth Ann for a girl & Spencer William John for a boy. I feel she is expecting a girl. But a healthy baby is most important. God Bless them.

No, some morning sickness is actually so severe that the woman loses weight and hurls strongly enough to throw up blood, damaging the stomach and making nutrition for the mother and baby impossible. I had a little wave of two of nausea, no big deal, my sister had the hospital kind and it very nearly dehydrated and malnourished her to death. Bad for the baby.

I threw up for 3 months...it was horrible. But i believe if I had lived a pamered life style..then I would not have been tough enough to deal with it. Pampered people can't handle pain. or discomfort. Now wht about the prank....my god..yes it was immature...but the nurse comitted suicide????? what the hell...the nurse was obviously unstable emotionally. This isn't King Henry the 8th...or 9th or 10th or whatever days...they are just people not God..for gosh sakes.
