Kate Hudson and fiancee Matt Bellamy have finally chosen a name for their newborn baby boy: Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy. And no, Bing is not a reference to the search engine or even the singer and actor Bing Crosby.

"For those wondering, Bingham is my mum's maiden name," the Muse frontman, 33, tweeted Thursday afternoon of his mother Marilyn.

"Bing Russell was also Kurt [Russell's] dad. Family connections all around!"

Although Hudson's biological father is Bill Hudson, she considers Kurt Russell (Goldie Hawn's partner for 28 years) to be her father.

The middle name, Hawn, pays homage to Hudson's mother.

Kids are cruel little trolls, imagine when he starts school. Even while in college he will be made fun of. It is a very nice thought to name his son after his mother, but didn't his mom had any other middle name?

A little odd, but who am I. It's not as bad as some others. He may get teased, but children are so mean, they will find something to tease him about. It may as well be his name. He will deal with it.

There are many names popping up that are considered "strange" nowadays. If they are not considered strange, the spelling usually is. Good thing these new classmates have never heard of Ricochet Rabbit!

Little kids can be mean. And he'll probably be teased for all his life or something. It's nice that Matt Bellamy decided to name the kid after his mom, but they could've chosen something else. Or at least given him an normal middle name so he could just go by that for the rest of his life.

I think put together ,Bingham Hawn, it feels strange coming out of the mouth, and Bing Hawn, sounds kind of weird out loud. But whatever floats their boat I suppose. I like the ersonaysignifigance to them though.
