He;s a prick. He only wanted to make a scene hoping it'll boost his sales. However, he doubted the Swift fans and their power of booing him.

Kanye West should be barred from future MTV awards after that performance. I know nothing about the relative merit of the two performances, but what Kanye West did, spoiling the moment for Taylor Swift was an attrocious thing to do. He could have complained about it to the press all he wanted, after the show, but what he did was uncalled for.

He's a moron and thats the long and the short of it. Even if I didn't like Taylor I'd be pissed at him, who does that? It just proves how immature he is, even if Beyonce did deserve it she was taking it in stride and he should have followed her example. She was shocked he did that and well this just shows how awesome Beyonce is, I mean she invited Taylor back after the whole thing and was kind. I have no respect for Kanye now, and it would be the same had it been any other artist, I wouldn't be sorry if he disappeared from the face of music. In no world not even in an alternate universe would this ever be okay. For anyone to do to anyone else, regardless of who you are.

Swift's video was up against heavy competition, I was shocked to even hear that she won in the first place against "Single Ladies" because of the song's popularity. The votes weighed in though and Taylor snagged it.

Personally, I like Taylor, I'm not a big huge fan, but I can relate to some of her music and think that some of her songs are pretty damn good. Is "You Belong With Me" one of my favorites? Nope, think it's overdone, generic, and boring, but it's fun to sing to when you're driving down the open roads. It's catchy.

As for Kanye, he's a bitch for doing it the way he did. He could've written a nice long cutting blog about it like he enjoys doing otherwise instead of hopping up onstage for another one of his moments. Was he right? Well, in the competition range, yep, he was...Beyonce's video was phenomenal. Taylor's was typical.

And it's pretty obvious that even Beyonce didn't support his move. She looked stunned as he was doing it and then gave Taylor more time to finish her speech.

For a 32 year old man to make a 19 year old girl to cry well, sorry, but that's just plain wrong to me. There's a time and a place for those things, and that place is NOT national television during an award acceptance speech.

Although, I cannot stand Taylor Swift at all. And I don't like Beyonce either. But that was still obnoxious of Kayne. Since Taylor won, he should have kept his opinion to himself.

I actually like Taylor Swift (Beyonce's alright, though I've never seen either video). It's not about whose video was better; it's about the fact that Kanye stepped into her spotlight--her moment--to tell her that she didn't deserve it. That was wrong.

I don't like either Beyonce or Taylor Swift.
But, if Taylor honestly earned the reward, then Kanye needs to not be a douche [for once] and keep his mouth shut.

Besides, there's no point taking it seriously because it was clearly just a way for Kanye whatever-his-name-is to get some attention.

He embarrassed Miss Swift, Miss Knowles, their fans, his fans and, especially, himself. There are certain unspoken/unwritten responsibilities and obligations to celebrity and he violated a huge one. I think he hopped when he shoulda hipped.

I can't tell what the crowd's doing, but it looks like they support taylor, and thought Kanye was wayyy out of line.

I mean taylor won fair and square. Kanye had no right to embarrass and humiliate taylor. He might not agree with the outcome, but he can be RESPECTFUL. He was being an ass.

Beyonce didn't like it either. She tried to make up for kanye's stick. She brought taylor back on stage to say her speech.
