Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were married in a lavish (and expensive-looking) wedding in Italy, but now they’ve made plenty of money back by selling their wedding photos for $300,000. According to the New York Post, the deal was signed with People magazine for $300K, while the pictures were also sold to Ok! in Europe for an unspecified amount.

It’s likely that the deal had something to do with Justin’s mom Lynn, who according to the Chicago Sun-Times made the decision to have a big wedding instead of Jessica’s wish for a small affair. A friend allegedly said that "Lynn is a very powerful factor in Justin's life and, if [Jessica] wants to have a smooth marriage, she has to have Lynn in her corner. A big part of that is letting Lynn have her way." Justin and Jessica have described the wedding as “magical,” “unforgettable,” and a “fantasy,” but do you think the photos are worth it?

Need another option here. $300,000 is a small amount for wedding photos of celebs of A-List caliber--Kim Kardashian made more than that for her 'wedding' photos, and she was hardly A-List material.

But that just shows how obsessed people are with celebrities when magazines buy wedding photos for that amount of money. They're just catering for their readers, so it's obviously worth it, if they sold.

Worth It!

I think what people aren't taking into account is that the couple sold the pic to a magazine company, not some strange obsessed shopper on eBay. They sold it to a company, who was making a business deal, because they will sell the pics on magazines to individual people for a few bucks apiece, which will add up to a thing called profit. So yes, actually, it's actually pretty worth it. Also my guess is the couple spent that much on the wedding anyway so it's not like they're suddenly 300k richer.

Must be worth for someone to have paid that much money. If I could sell my wedding pictures for 10% of it I would. personally I would not pay them $30 bucks but then, if someone wants to, let them pay. I think Jessica and Justin are smart to sell them.

I get annoyed with these "is it worth is" questions because I feel like people don't understand worth. Worth is determined by what people will pay, the person who pays determines overall worth. If it sold for $300K then it's worth $300K. Simple.

I don't understand who would want to pay that much for someone ELSE'S wedding photos, celebrity or not. Like... When you're flipping through a photo album with someone and they see that and go, "Oh, you looked lovely!" isn't it a little weird to say, "Oh no, not me. Some celebrity couple from a couple years ago. Bought it off Ebay."

There is nothing wrong with them doing that. Why charge for picks the paparazzi has already taken? not to mention friends and family. It's not like they need the money.congratulations to them though. The girl finally got a ring on it. Way to step up to the plate justin
