Also just because they write their own lyrics doesn't mean that they are artistic or diverse. An artist, is a person who creates pieces that challenge a convention or something in a high-held position in society (i.e. the government) using an artistic medium (painting, music, drama, literature). How have Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato challenged society? How often has Bieber not written something about love or relationships?

As for One Direction, I am not a fan but their music is okay.
P.S. I am a huge fan of Victoria Justice. She is so pretty and has a beautiful voice. Arianna Grande is amazing as well.
