Justin Bieber appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to interview not only with Oprah, but with one lucky fan taken from the audience. The Disney star and pop singer spoke with Oprah about what it's like getting in trouble with his mother. The question certainly humanized the young star, as he explained that his mother sometimes takes away his phone or computer for days at a time when he is bad. Later in the show, he performed his hit song "Baby."
After recording, Bieber tweeted about his experience on Oprah: "Just got to say that Oprah is real nice down to earth person. She even came back after the show to talk with everyone. She is incredible. And she made my grandpa cry. He went all water works in the crowd. Haha"
But for a talk show like Oprah's, whose tickets are given to women active in community service and other well-respected mediums, isn't it a bit of a downplay to fill the studio with screeching teen girls and a young pop star that, in comparison to Oprah's other guests, has nothing to say to the common viewer demographic?

Yeah, I watched a whole show on the "Oprah Effect" and how if Oprah likes something, like a specific cake from a privately owned little shop, then all of a sudden that place is the most popular place ever hahaha
