Justin Bieber Does Interview in British Accent: Can You Do One?

Justin Bieber has expressed his deep admiration for the U.K. in the past, but we assumed he was just sucking up to fans. Turns out the kid really is into the Brits -- enough to go through an entire interview in an English accent. It wasn't exactly spot-on, and he almost bailed in the middle, but he made it all the way through. Check out the video below for some clips from the interview.

Of course, it wasn't totally spontaneous. Fortunately for him, it sounds like the interviewer requested it. Otherwise it might have come off as goofy or pretentious. But we want to know if there are any SodaHeads out there who can pull of a slick British accent. If you want, feel free to post a video. Any dialect is acceptable. And if you're British, give us your best American accent!

I am British its dead easy, but I am Scots not English, if the question means "Can I do a plumy English accent?" the answer is no way , why would I want to sound english anyway?

Another also, why do people "hate" Justin Bieber? I have a different criteria for people I "hate" (Or strongly dislike), here are some examples of people that make the list:

I agree. I've never heard an entire Bieber song, maybe a 5-second clip on telly (I'm a metal, hip-hop, rap, rock, indie, world, bizzare, even occasional classical, "just play anything but country or pop music" girl), but I don't see why people hate on him. Don't like his music? Don't listen to it. I don't. Clearly, he was asked to do the accent, pre-arranged as an innocent, playful flirtation with his British fans. Where's the harm in that, people? He actually gained a little respect from my apathetic standpoint, for being willing to do something he may not pull off in front of the world, and not care how many people call him a douchebag.

I completely agree and I'm the same way. My ipod has anything from electriconic/dance, techno, hiphop, classical, brazilian, soundtrack, indie, or alternative.
Yeah, I don't like Justin Bieber's music. But I have no idea who he is as a person. I certainly don't think his actions warrant hatred.

Some pre-teen girl probably fainted while watching this interview. Anyway, I'm not as good as someone from the area of course, but I do love accents. I'm fascinated with dialects, languages and learning how they have evolved over time.

My accent is half Eastern Half South Eastern, quite posh but with a bit of an accent, it gets Posher when I'm thinking about it though... His is quite good, obviously I can tell it's fake and he made some sounds weirdly, but it's quite a nice accent anyway :P
