Looks like Justin Bieber could have used a few more years in high school. David Letterman was teasing the 18-year-old pop star about his latest tattoo, urging him to draw the line at creating a mural like "the Sistine Chapel," when the Biebs responded, "I'm not going for the Sixteenth Chapel."

Knowing he had the perfect set-up for a joke, Letterman responded, more to the audience than to Bieber, "Canadian high school!" as the Biebs looked on cluelessly.

OK, we'll cut Bieber a little slack here. It's hard to pay attention in Social Studies when you're on your way to becoming an international heartthrob. Nevertheless ... from Bieber to Jessica Simspon to Britney Spears, click through our slideshow and let us know: Which celeb had the dumbest quote?

    I heard this one, too... I did hear the Britney Spears quote about wanting to go overseas, somewhere "like Canada", because, being Canadian, it was played and made fun of all over here.

    I don't think the Sistene Chapel is part of any school's social studies curriculum. This could have been a great teaching moment for JB and Dave's tv audience. But Letterman took the mock route instead in order to make himself look very good and Jusin ignorant. Letterman is no role model for today's youth. Rote memory about the Sistene Chapel doesn't make you smart. Canadian students rank 3rd in the world in math, science, and reading while U.S. students rank 16th. With his Canadian high school diploma (not GED) in his hand he can enjoy his new mansion, invest his money, make his fans and Selena happy, and tour the world. While in Italy, he can visit the Sistene Chapel. That's far more rewarding than going back to high school for a few more years and looking at pictures, pretending to be a Letterman expert.
