Knowing he had the perfect set-up for a joke, Letterman responded, more to the audience than to Bieber, "Canadian high school!" as the Biebs looked on cluelessly.

Kellie Pickler's quote isn't stupid. Not everyone knows what a calamari is. It's a Mediterranean cuisine and it's not famous or known in some parts of Asia too... To the people who think that her quote was stupid, do you know what's a tandoori? A biryani? a kebab? A pavlova? Normal people have limited knowledge on different cuisines.

I guess I'm dumb as well because I have never even heard the word "calamari". Guess I better look it up! I think the most outrageous quote was Paris Hilton's. Was she maybe just being facetious? I think the one that most made me shudder was Brittney Spears'. It makes me shudder because it makes me wonder what the heck kids are even learning, if anything, in school anymore.

i just picked bieber because he's the most recent.
there's no excuse for being as dumb as all these people. it just happens to these young kids who get paid way too much because they are 'famous'. there suddenly becomes no reason to learn anything ever again. so they stop learning. and their lives will surely suffer the consequences for it.
