Who cares. Most people have had a drink before 19(Ontario legal age). Now he's 18 I guess the two of them should go to Alberta where the drinking age is 18.

Hold on.. over where I live the drinking age limit is 18, and actually in most parts of the world. Bieber is Canadian, the drinking age over there is 19 right?

I started having a glass of wine with my dinners at 15. If anything, the open and tolerant attitude in my household caused me to grow into an adult who drinks *less* than most people. When the whole sexy "forbidden fruit" allure is removed from alcohol and other things, you can view their properties objectively, without any hint of fear that *not* drinking or doing drugs will make you an "uncool" conformist.

Drinking age laws are antiquated and silly. Let parents and families make these choices for themselves.

And no sh*t it's no big deal, underage kids drink beer every day, I'm 19 and I drink beer so whoop-de-freakin-do. The drinking age SHOULD be 18 anyway.

I'm sure it's no biggie because it might have been supervised, innocent, or whatever. But for an artist to claim to follow christian views? It's hard to think he would drink AND admit it. And I'm pretty sure he's just digging for fans.

If he said it for attention so be it, I couldn't really care less what any celebrity claims to be or not be. My point was that you can be a Christian and drink, it's not a contradiction, and IMO it's really not a big deal either. And I also don't really think he probably did it for attention either. He was asked a question, he answered. What's the point of lying about drinking?

Got that right. It's best to introduce kids before the legal age - not binge drinking of course, but tasting, and supervised at that. The more it's kept away, the more tempting it becomes. Besides normally kids don't even have a taste for alcohol (and I don't mean fruity flavor-masking drinks either) - I know I didn't, and that's really what kept me apathetic to drinking until I was of age.

Not that I didn't have any before 21 though. So sue me, 18 us legal in every other country anyway. America's law is an oddball one...

Alcohol before you're 18? Shocking! I don't know how they expect Americans to wait until they're 21. If by 25 you should almost be done with that partying lifestyle then why on earth wouldn't they make the legal age 18 everywhere? Let them get it out of their system earlier on. It's not cute when you're in your thirites and still getting hammered in the club.

Well considering there's tons of beautiful women who are 35 or over and these days a lot of them are actually in better shape than teenage girls or women in their twenties I think that could still be really cute. Your mom's actually pretty young for a mom if you're in your teens already, I bet you have one of those "cool moms" and your friends all envy you and wish she was their mom. I always wanted a "cool mom."
