Curtis &Leroy; saw an ad in the The Oxford Eagle Newspaper in OXFORD, MS. and bought a mule for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day.The next morning the farmer drove up and said, "Sorry, fellows, I have some bad news, the mule died last night."Curtis & Leroy replied, "Well, then just give us our money back.." The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already." They said, "OK then, just bring us the dead mule." The farmer asked, "What in the world ya'll gonna do with a dead mule?" Curtis said, "We gonna raffle him off.."

The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead mule!" Leroy said, "We shore can! Heck, we don't hafta tell nobody he's dead!" A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis &Leroy; at the Piggly Wiggly grocery store and asked. What'd you fellers ever do with that dead mule?"
They said,"We raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do."

Leroy said,"Shucks, we sold 500 tickets fer two dollars apiece and made a profit of $898."

The farmer said,"My Lord, didn't anyone complain?"

Curtis said, "Well, the feller who won got upset. So we gave him his two dollars back."

Curtis and Leroy now work for the government.

They're overseeing the Bailout Program.

Limit all US politicians to two terms.

One in office

One in prison

Illinois already does this!

If it weren't so true it would be even funnier. Politicians have been selling us dead mules for decades - except we never get our money back.

A car drives up to a farmer's house, a man gets out, knocks on the door, and the farmer opens it. "A friend told me you have a mule that points quail", said the stranger, "is that true"?? "Sure is", said the farmer, "would you like to see him work?" The strangers said, "Sure". Soon they were walking through a field, when the mule suddenly stopped and struck a beautiful point. The farmer walks ahead of the mule and scares up a big covey of quail. This goes on a half dozen more times...the mule points...the farmer scares up the covey. Finally, the stranger says, "That's enough, I've got to have that mule". "He ain't for sale", said the farmer. I'll give you $50,000.00 for him", said the stranger. Well, the farmer couldn't refuse such a big offer, so he sold him. The next night, the farmer's phone rang...it was the stranger. "What the hell's wrong with this damed mule you sold me?", he screamed..."all he's done all day is stand belly deep in my pond"!! "Well", said the farmer, "I guess I should'a told you......he'd rather fish than hunt."

This is as bad as the ACORN scandal. Congress comes out and publicly admits the corpution and takes away the funding. But doesn't tell the people that the ban was only for 30 days and now ACORN is back fully funded and back hard at work for the Child pimps and Democrats in our country.

This story was hilarious. But it is true that we should limit politicians to two terms so they're not able to turn politics into a lifetime profession. Of course, many of the ones who are currrently in office deserve to be either in prison or locked up in an insane asylum.

Without a doubt, that is the most accurate portrayal of reality I have read in a long time.

And good for Illinois! I am almost convinced that should be the way of things in the other 49 states as well. (or is it the "other 56 states"? LOL!)

But does it work? And how is it working in Illinois. Isn't that where Obama is from? And somehow he sees Lincoln as his hero. I wonder what he learned about Lincoln that I didn't get.

He is a hero in my book, but I don't have any of the qualities Obama has - like Change and Hope. I wonder if he even uses the same dictionary we used in school.
