John Travolta's Sexual Harassment Scandal: Do You Think He Did It?

John Travolta is joining a long list of public figures accused of inappropriate sexual conduct. Two male masseurs filed lawsuits this week, alleging that the "Pulp Fiction" star made unwanted sexual advances. So, who thinks he actually might have done it? Find out at 0:30 in the video below.

Both plaintiffs are using the same lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, and although Travolta's attorney apparently has a receipt and photograph proving Travolta was on the other side of the country when the first instance was supposed to have taken place, Okorocha says, "There's a bunch of accusers against Travolta who have similar accusations. Many have contacted me, and I'm still vetting their stories. More defendants might come forward soon." Do you think John Travolta is guilty of sexual harassment? Or is it just the rumor mill churning out another crazy idea?

I see your point. You still have to find the out the truth and things like this happens multiply times people tend to believe the accusations. But I still would never allow another man to give me a massage. Never ever. I told wife years ago that I would never put myself in a situation to jeopardize our marriage.

It would seem to me that your wife would worry more about a woman giving you a massage than a man. :)

That's why I said a few days ago that I would not feel comfortable with a woman given me a massage because I am married and I let my wife do those type of things for me. Women can do those things without being sexual but 99% of men probably can not without making it sexual. That's why women can cuddly with each other, touch on men at work, show each other body parts, compliment each other on looks and each other's body because women can be sensual without being sexual. A man can't do this with a women without being sexual and will never do this with another man. If you don't believe me try asking all of you and your husband's friends and associates.

I don't ask for messages before sex. Nor do I ask for massages before sex. To me, massages are therapeutic. They tend to make me fall asleep. I do not associate sex with massage. You make a lot of assumptions.

You probably don't but a lot a people do. And a lot of women do ask their husbands for a message before sex.

OK, OK, that was funny.... No, its not exactly a Mr Miyagi hand clap, but its close. For starters, are you aware the Gluteus Maximus or "buttock muscle" is the biggest of the over 640 muscles in the human body? This muscle and its parent group are susceptible to a wide variety of injuries (especially in martial artists, swimmers and runners). So, to have ones @sscheeks ( as you so eloquently put it) massaged during a session, is not all that unheard of (especially in therapeutic massage). I do see your point though, and have no problem with it. I just wanted to provide an agenda free response to your post...Just a thought....

If I was physically injured and went to a doctor then I wouldn't not have a problem with it, But to request a personal masseuse for a 2 hour session in your home would not be the way that I would go about it. I would definitely go to a physical therapist or somewhere that practice sports medicine. Not to someone that have a 10 week course certificate. I also see your point of view of sports injuries.

Maybe some men do not care, one way or another, if it is a man or woman, as long as the person is good. Did you consider that option?
  • Marshal... addie 2012/05/10 13:55:52

I probably would, but in most instances I just let my wife to that stuff.

It is FAR less uncomfortable to have a same sex massage person. I am female, I go to a female, it is safer, and never ends in hints, or OOPS!!! moments. HOWEVER, There is a lot, LOT of incidental contact in a full body massage-it is not sexual it is accidental and happens in the course of turning or re-positioning for comfort and ease of access to a particular muscle group.

I can buy that, But me being a male, I would rather have a female say OOPS than a male. The first OOPS would be a freebie the second would not.

I stated earlier that is is different with females also.

LOL, well, our entire family uses one female massage therapist, including my father in law, because she is just that good, and an oops! is normally our own fault.

I just could never, ever have a man as a therapist-I have to talk myself into taking my shirt off at the beach.

I believe two things, One he probably did it and two it probably happens a lot in their line of work, but 'll bet it goes by the wayside until someone rich does it. I felt bad when he lost his son, no parent should have to deal with that. but I felt less sorry for him when he said (of his son) that he was really special, and that all parents say that about their children, but his sonwas special. as if we aren't capable of having great kids too.

If I am correct, he was referring to his son as a special needs kid; his son had disabilities.

Then you know that special needs kids are special in a different way. He in no way implied anyone's kids was less so. By your reasoning you yourself should not feel your kid is special. And every parent feels their kids are more special than others. It is parental nature and even if he did mean it, so what? He is a normal parent who felt normal pride in his kid.
  • Timetra... Andrea 2012/05/12 06:22:43

your right! all parents feel that way. we just don't go on national TV and diminish the love we all have as if we lack something.
  • Andrea Timetra... 2012/05/12 17:28:09
    Andrea
I am a proud mother. I would go on tv, call the papers, and shout from the rooftops that my girls are better and more special than any other kids. It is my right as a mother to love and cherish and feel that my kid is more than yours, his or anyone else's. He is a human being with fatherly feelings for his kids. He probably would not feel anything if something happened to your kid. But he did grieve his own. Just as you would if the roles were reversed. It has nothing to do with saying you can't have a special kid. He thinks his kids are more special. I think mine are. YOU think yours are. We are PARENTS. I think you are making it into what it is not.

You may feel less sad yet, when you find out, he let the kid die instead of getting him medical treatment, per the religion he follows.

I still think these people are just easy targets and rumors about them are often just for the teller to get attention.
