John Mayer is finally coming clean about something that many of his exes have probably dreamed of hearing him admit for years: that he wasn't the world’s best boyfriend. After jumping from pop singer to Hollywood starlet to pop singer yet again, the notorious ladies has apparently admitted to the CBS Sunday Morning Show in an interview that will air on February 10, that he “was just a jerk” to some of his past loves.

That will come as no surprise to reality star-turned-fashion designer Jessica Simpson. She’s the one that Mayer called “sexual napalm” after their break-up. Nor will it shock Taylor Swift, who allegedly wrote the tune “Dear John” about their rocky relationship.

And the string of actresses he tossed aside like Jennifer Aniston, Minka Kelly and Jennifer Love Hewitt may very well have thought of the rock star as a “jerk” once or twice themselves.

Since acceptance is often considered the first step toward change, this might be a good sign for Mayer’s latest girlfriend, Katy Perry. Or like the women that passed thorough the “Your Body Is a Wonderland” singer’s life, the “Firework” star might just like a bad boy and she might be on the road to heartbreak herself. What about you? Who hasn't? And aren't all men jerks at one point in their lives. Infact for those who say no, I say, you were either smart enough to leave the relationship before the jerk monster came out or you are to dumb to see that the man you dated was a jerk. I have dated once, and HE WAS A REAL JERK!

Most people that claim they've dated jerks are those with little to no accountability. And on top of that, most people that claim they've dated jerks are commonly referred to as jerks by other people. So... if you whine about having dated a jerk, you're most likely some unaware, codependent, self-absorbed fool yourself.

Seriously? You're SERIOUSLY asking this question? Of course people have dated 'jerks'. Some of which may have been actually jerks, others that had the bad luck of not conforming to the other persons expectations and so they nitpicked every perceived flaw and claimed them to be a 'jerk'.
