Jimmy Kimmel is officially in the big leagues. ABC is moving "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to 11:35 p.m. starting Jan. 8, meaning the show will air at the same time as Jay Leno and David Letterman.

“I am excited, honored, and grateful to ABC for this strong vote of confidence, inexplicable as it may be,” Kimmel said in a statement. But it really isn't that inexplicable. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is the only late-night broadcast talk show to gain total viewers over the past season, growing from an average of 1.74 million viewers to 1.79 million, The New York Daily News reports.

Meanwhile, CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" went from an average of 3.55 million viewers to 3.21, and NBC’s "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" slipped from 3.87 to 3.71 million. In fact, the "Tonight Show" was recently forced to lay off about two dozen employees, and Leno also reportedly took a pay cut. Who do you think is the funniest of the three hosts?

letterman use to be hilarious but he turned and is about as funny as a turd. His politics are just misguided and he should be embarrassed but he is to vain.
Jay is a blue dog democrate and will read what ever the writers put on the prompter.
