Jimmy Kimmel is officially enshrined in Hollywood history after getting a star on the world famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. The longtime actor and late-night talk show host received his honor in the company of his parents, fiancée Molly McNearney, and his friend and former intern Carson Daly.
Kimmel joins a number of notable celebrities with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, including Britney Spears, Vince McMahon, Bob Hope, and many others.
When discussing the award, Kimmel said his parents took him to the Hollywood Walk of Fame at age 10. At age 45, Kimmel is now a part of the prestigious Hollywood landmark that he dreamed about for all those years.
What is notable though is that Kimmel is still pretty young, especially compared to his late night-television counterparts Jay Leno, David Letterman, and Craig Ferguson. Some might even say given his age that it might be too soon to feature him on the Walk of Fame. No matter what anyone thinks, it's clearly a humbling dream come true for Kimmel after years of hard work.
