The on-screen hero of "The Hunger Games" dealt with an actual emergency on Monday like a real-life hero. According to The Daily News, actress Jennifer Lawrence noticed a young girl who had collapsed in front of her Santa Monica apartment, and stayed with the girl until help got there. Several images were taken at the scene, showing Lawrence in a kneeling position by the girl's side.

Police would not reveal much about the incident, but explained, "[Lawrence] was walking her dog when she saw the juvenile. She stood by as a Good Samaritan until officers arrived and spoke with them. It was a couple of juveniles involved in the incident. It could have been alcohol related. She’s okay." Have you ever come to the aid of a stranger? If so, tell us your story!

I was doing X-rays on a lady when I worked in hospitals. And she was pretty beat up. She began to talk to me about it. The husband was abusive. She had tried to leave. But since he was a state patrol he always found her using his cop network. I had a friend who was a counselor and I called him. He got her to safety in another state.

Sure, it happened. Last time I think it was helping a blind lady find the information desk at a train station. Oh actually no, it was helping this young girl order at McDonald's cause she didn't speak the language and the guy at the counter was being a dick and making her cry.

I look down on anyone who would refuse to help someone simply because they are a "stranger", that word is not in my vocabulary, they are simply people I have not met.

I have helped strangers who have fallen over, off bikes, I ran to a clinic to find a doctor for a man who had passed out (doctor arrived 5 minutes before the ambulance). I helped strangers find work, I even helped some homeless strangers to find homes, one lives with me now and is a great friend. I am thankful for what I give.

And people here still assume I am a prick, they are right, because even though I am 99.9% good, my evil side permitted someone to wipe out 6.3 billion people over the next 7 years.

You are a beautiful selfless soul and you are fulfilling your earthly assignments that you were brought to this world to do. It has nothing to do with religion, it has everything to do with us individually. You are an earth angel and the heavens has lifelines assigned just for you when you need extensions on earth to complete your assignment.
Thank You' for being here and being you.

I have no need to talk about what i have done, that is not why I do things....

....what is important, is Jennifer Lawrence did the right thing and when many celebrities would have walked away, she stayed to make sure the girl was safe.

It is good to talk about what you have done for someone that needed your assistance in their time of distress and or helplessness.
It's good to tell your short stories to others so that it teaches them; and inspires individuals to tap into themselves, to become more aware that there are others in this world that need you and them, that you have yet to meet. You're an earth angel and you recognize your assignments for this world, and the heavens has lifelines assigned just for you to extend your stay on earth to complete your assignments. So I encourage you to talk about it, because you are teaching as you speak; and you are passing messages of hope and humanity for the whole world. There is a difference in telling your story, and just plain bragging about your deeds in a cynical way.
The heavens watches all we do and all that's done on this planet called Earth.

First of all yay for Jennifer Lawrence.and one time this mentally challenged kid came knocking on my grandma's door asking for his sponge bob movie. He looked about 10 and was barefoot. So i stayed with him and went to every apt in the apt building to see if it belonged to his family. No luck, so i called the police and we went outside. Across the street i see three ppl looking frantic and one had a bat. Thankfully, they were his family. The look in his mothers face when she knew he was safe was priceless. And it felt so good to help that kid.

Pretty small but there's this pretty steep dirt track that I use as a short cut to school. One day it was raining REALLY hard and the track was so damn muddy and people were slipping all over the place. And there was this steep part going down that this kid was so scared of going down. So I took her stuff so she had more balance and helped her through. Then I had to distangle her stuff from mine and give it back to her.

Yes, one time I was at The Mall Of America with my friends and we were in the middle of a scavenger hunt when we saw a littler girl who looked to be about 4 crying and wandering around without a parent. And we paused our game to go and help the girl and bring her to a security guard so that they could find her mother. It was sad to see the little girl so sad and lost. But then we found her mother!! And although my team lost the scavenger hunt, it was worth it to help someone out!

And one day I was sitting around watching t.v. when all of a sudden I heard a loud crash outside and the t.v. snapped off. I was so confused until I heard a frantic knock on the door. I opened the door to see a bloody teenage boy frantically asking me for help and pointing to his truck that hit the electrical box and crashed into my neighbors tree. I called for my mom to help him while I called 911 and we helped him and calmed him till the police and ambulance came. He was the only on in the car, and he wasn't badly hurt. He was just really bloody and it terrified me to open the door to a bloody kid screaming for help, but I'm glad that I helped!

There was this one lady who was crying hysterically and (this so out of my character) I went up to her and I asked her why she was crying. She told me that she couldn't find her engagement ring. This incident was at a park while I was walking my two chihuahuas at the time so there was a lot of ground to cover. It took about an hour and a half but I found it in the middle of the grassfield, how it ended up there I have no idea.

You are psychic that's why you followed your senses to that spot. Something as tiny as a ring in the middle of a grassfield, a million to one chance that will happen again with such positive results.

Nah it was just lucky that I was staring off into the distance and noticed a bling that shouldn't be in the middle of a grassfield.

It could have been a piece of metal, glass or a rock. You are a psychic; a person of high sensory and knowledge of information obout others without being told. You are not tapping into it but glimpses of things to come dart at lightening speed across your mind, but you hold it for a split second then let it go from your mind. It could have been anyone else but you that day, but it wasn't; because there was a reason, it was meant that you and the lady meet because you knew where the ring was instinctly.

Instantly? It took us about and hour and half for the first search and then we sat down together while I watched her cry and then looked away from her then noticed the bling.

Yes, a car accident victim around midnight on a nearly abandoned Wyoming highway while on a long distance trip. He had been ejected from a vehicle that rolled. All we could really do is keep him warm with blankets and encourage him until the ambulance showed up.
