Wow ... Jennifer Hudson must be superhuman. She has found it in her heart to forgive the man who killed her mother, brother and nephew, she tells "Oprah's Next Chapter."
Asked if she forgives her brother-in-law William Balfour, who received three life sentences in July, she responded: "Yes, because I feel like for the most part it's not his fault. It's how he was brought up. We tried to offer love, but you were so far gone, that you couldn't even see that.
"A lot of things came out, that we didn't even know about, from his upbringing, which is like he never had a chance. Had you had the love my mother gave us, or the background that some have, then you would've stood a chance."
Hudson also talks about how she managed to go on after the triple tragedy. "There were so many shocks involved in it. Like, who do I grieve for first? Or, who do I start with? It's bits and pieces. It's too much. You're confused. Your emotions are confused." Could you ever forgive a man who killed three of your family members?

As for this lady, I give her great credit and respect for her ability to forgive. She is a class act....
Just no. I'd want revenge.
I can see getting on with your life...but forgive the person that killed your mother? HUH? Someones watching too much Oprah, the view(narrow), Dr Phil etc....get a spine. No wonder the rest of the world thinks we're spineless wussy 's
But I'm sure that God will understand it and I know He will help me in thi situation.
Jennifer Hudson is a sweet innocent girl apparently.
Some of these guys are real monsters. I would beat him till he was a cripple for the rest of his life, at the very least. I probably might kill him, like a rattlesnake, so he can't hurt anybody in the future.
Sure he grew up in a cruddy environment. Lots of us did. Get over it. Or get done away with.
Seems like most "Christians' don't. Or lets say, they are very selective about what they chose to hear.
And you know the Catholic Church forbids people to follow Christs example?
Christ was a socialist, and capitalist (libertarians) Patricians destroyed the Roman Republic and created the Empire, and the later feudal society evolved from this as all property became held by just a few.
