Not in this case! The ring does not even look like an engagement ring, its way too big & gaudy for her hand. What is this guy trying to prove? He should have stuck to something more elegant & classy
Very few people can pull off a rock that big. Whatever though. Heck...I asked my (now) husband to buy me a $250 emerald ring for my engagement ring and just a band to go with it for the wedding...he refused. Someday I'll have my dream ring (he designed one but didn't have the money to have it made)
Normally, I would say the bigger the better, but after seeing this ring, I have to say I don't like it at all. I don't like the cut, it's too big for her hand, and it's not sparkly - looks kind of cloudy in the pictures. It's a really ugly ring. I would love to have a square cut diamond that is beautifully cut, high grade, lots of shine coming in at about 3 carats. That's plenty big enough - get any bigger, and it's gaudy. Love this ring:
The ring above is supposed to be 3 carats which is a pretty large stone, but Sheri's hand is apparently large so it makes the stone look smaller than it is.
Small is classy and it is also easier to wear on a daily basis without causing any problems to the stone. Engagement and wedding rings are about showing the world you are devoted to another and not willing to sacrifice the devotion. If you can't wear your ring all the time because it is not practical, then what is the point of owning it.
Jennifer has some pretty bad luck when it comes to her choice of men; but it was her choice. Evidently, even at her age, she has not grown up. Choosing a mate, by the size of a ring, is infantile, unless the man behind it is sincere and companionable.
Then, again, perhaps she has some problems.in satisfying a relationship.
Who's to say? For Jennifer I image it's very beautiful.
In reality if you find a true companion they are your bling.
If you get both, well, Hooray! for you!
That rock is HUGE!! It's actually almost too big for her dainty hands, but hey the bigger the better I guess. I hope Aniston finds true love, she deserves it, and I hope she has the family she has always wanted at the end.
