Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her new baby girl, Maddie Briann, in McComb, Mississippi, at the Southwest Regional Medical Center. Britney Spears and father were seen rushing from Los Angeles to make it to the event.

Maddie weighed 7lbs, 11 ounces at birth and was happily greeted by her new family. Jamie Lynn, and the father of her child, Casey Aldridge, have been engaged since March, when they decided it was the right thing to do for the baby.

I think she will be an okay mom. We don't want here to be a perfect mom/psycho mom like on Glasshouse. She was being fanatic about being the "PM". To the point she killed them, or almost did such a crime. Gee willie. Good movie 1st/2nd remake of it.

I can't understand why people in this world are so MEAN. That do not even know Jamie Lynn and they want he to give up here baby. What is wrong with people. Ya what happened to Brit was bad, but she is not her sister and I think she would learn from he sister mistakes wouldn't you. I mean has she done anything to make the world not think she was responsible, I mean so what is she lost her virginity at 16 who hasn't I think she has a lot to prove so let her do it before you through her under the bus.

I'm hoping that she is an awesome mother and won't get into any drugs. So far she seems like she has a level head on her shoulders, but stars/celebrities have ways of changing overnight, so to speak. I wish her the best of luck.

Jamie and Britney dont have good role models. Their parents failed and like other kids who have babies in their teens, they will fail too. Look at all of these kids out there who don't have Fathers! Yea, fathers. Fathers who will be there form birth to old age. Thats a father. Any fool can make babies. SHow my some good kids and I'll show you some great parents! Jamie will end up like a slut because they don't have morals like most of us normal people!

I have confidence in Jamie I know she will be a better mother than her sister at that i mean a lot better.She is a better person.She also knows her responsibillitys.
