Jamie Foxx apologizes to Miley but Billy Ray still yapping. Get over it already?

After comedian Jamie Foxx said in a radio interview to grow up, make a sex tape and do drugs", Fox apologized on the Jay Leno and said he understood how Billy Ray would feel because Fox has a daughter too. Bill Ray still wasn't happy and went on the Bonnie Hunt show to vent. Should Billy Ray get over it already?

We may think so from the outside. But when it comes to our kids we get over protective.. That’s his daughter I’d never forgive the comment if I were Billy.. However as an outsider I say get over it.

If you'll recall, the ones Imus attacked were girls as well, with some of them being only a couple of years older than Cyrus. My point is yes, he was wrong to make the comment about ANY female, and was one of those who wrote to him to express my disapproval, just as I did to Imus. The difference between what Foxx said, which again was wrong, but could have applied to any celebrity female, and what Imus said, is that Imus' derogatory remark could only apply to females of one ethnicity.

Again, while inappropriate, his comments don't remotely amount to pedophilia. He was reiterating tabloid fodder regarding the antics of young "starlets" these days, a la Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, etc., who have reportedly been party to some or all of the things he mentioned.

Not saying its ok for anybody to call anybody names, but she is a celebrity, and one of the consequences that come with being a celebrity is being in the public eye, and people talking about you.

If billy ray and miley can't handle that, they shouldn't of got involved in the entertainment industry.

besides, hes a comedian. he gets paid to make fun of people. He doesn't intend to offend any body, but he did, and he apologized for it. That should be enough.

I did, though.
Don imus apologzed, and he admitted he said something that was stupid and not right.
I don't think it should of gone as far for him to lose his radio show.

No. I can not imagine why someone would have downraved this comment. I have found since I have been on SH that people will downrave you just because they don't agree with you intstead of based on content. Down raving is suppose to be for hate content or language but that does not seem to matter.

Actually I have 5 kids and yes I would protect them at all costs. But, Jamie apologized and that should be good enough. What he said was not that bad. Like I said, hes a comedian and he just didnt think before he spoke.
