Conservapedia is an English-language wiki project written from an American conservative Christian point of view. The website considers itself to be a supporter of "conservative, family-friendly" content.[3] It was started in 2006 by homeschool teacher and attorney Andy Schlafly, son of conservative activistPhyllis Schlafly,[4][5] to counter what he called the liberal bias of Wikipedia.[6][7] It uses editorials and a wiki-based system to generate content. Examples of the ideology of Conservapedia in its articles include: advocacy for Young Earth creationism, negative accusations against US President Barack Obama, criticism of Albert Einstein and relativity, and claiming a proven link between abortion and breast cancer. Conservapedia also operates a "Conservative Bible Project", a conservative re-interpretation of the Bible.[8]

The project has received negative reactions from the mainstream media, as well as from various figures from both ends of the political spectrum, including commentators and journalists,[9][10][11][12][13] and has been criticized for bias and inaccuracies.

You will be happy to know that they are serious about what they write.

You just have to read the discussion pages of their articles to eradicate all doubt.

But in all honesty, Conservapedia seems tame compared to the vitriol on SH.

    Read the article on dinosaurs:
Creation science shows that dinosaurs lived in harmony with other animals, (probably including in the Garden of Eden) eating only plants[4]; that pairs of each dinosaur kind were taken onto Noah's Ark during the Great Flood and were preserved from drowning

This obviously has to be true, there is no way that this could be false, no possible way

They write a decent article every now and then but the site is almost entirely biased. You can't twist science just to be 'politically correct'. Science is science regardless of your political or religious beliefs.

The sad thing is that lately wingnuts on Sodahead have been linking to Conservapedia articles as "proof" for various stupid claims they make.

I first saw Conservapedia in a debate about global warming. For a couple of minutes there, I thought it was a parody too. The article on global warming seriously lists sunspots as a cause. KOOK-A DOODLE-DO!!!

There will always be outlets for those with the ignorance and arrogance to believe they are the only ones that know the real truth and the rest of us are idiots.
