Twitter might be the most unique social network out there. It's easy to use, can help get a message out there quickly in real-time, and the folks behind it are still not completely sure how to properly make money off of it. It's a tool that can help you keep up with the news, your friends, and even your favorite celebrities. Well, some celebrities.
Recently, celebrities like musician John Mayer and actors Charlie Sheen and Alex Baldwin have said goodbye to Twitter (at least temporarily). Why they have is really anyone's guess. Many celebs quit the popular social network after making a gaffe or causing some kind of corporate friction. But, even if Twitter is a public snafu waiting to happen, many stars who quit don't end up staying away for long. They just can't help themselves.
While companies like WWE have embraced Twitter and mastered the art of "trending" every time one of their programs is on TV, other companies are still slow on fully engaging in social media. As for individuals, whether you are a big time celebrity or the dude from a small town, watch what you tweet. As fun as Twitter is, it can get people in trouble for tweeting or retweeting the wrong things. It's also starting to get cluttered with spam that won't be the easiest to identify if you're not computer savvy. Maybe those celebs we mentioned left because they knew they'd tweet something stupid or were tired of getting trolled. Who knows?
What do you think SodaHeads? Is Twitter more trouble than it's worth?

If you really cared what I'm doing at this exact moment, pick up the phone and call me.
Take care,
I did keep my Facebook account open though, because my high school class of 1964 is planning our 50th year reunion and I want to know who is likely to show up for that before I plan on making the trip to it. The guy who is organizing it is using Facebook to keep other classmates informed about it (and to help spread the word).

Alright. Who wants to join my new band? The name will be "Twitter".
