Sure, there are a lot of terrible musicians in the music industry, especially on the radio, but there are also a lot of good musicians too.

I know that I'm getting what I want to hear, but that's because I only listen to music that I like enough to put on my Ipod.

Unfortunately, Big record labels manipulate the music we hear on the radio, by paying a lot of money to program only what they condider good for their commercial interests, they also block other kind of music for the origin, for example you can hardly hear good british music.
