Harry Styles abandoned his band mates in One Direction to ride on Taylor Swif t's private jet over the weekend, leading to comparisons with Yoko Ono and the effect fans claim that her relationship with John Lennon had on The Beatles.

A source told England's The Sun newspaper that "There was loads of room for the rest of the band in Taylor’s luxury jet but he didn’t even suggest they traveled together." They added that "It’s really not far off from the Yoko situation."

The band eventually reunited in London, for the "Jingle Bell Ball" on Saturday. After the show, the source said that "Her presence has stirred tensions in the band as Harry’s now spending most of his time with her, and jetted into the gig on her private jet instead of coming in with the rest of the lads." Do you think that Taylor Swift is One Direction's Yoko Ono?

To compare John Lennon to Harry Styles is to almost as if to compare Jesus to dog crap. To compare Yoko Ono to Taylor Swift...well, I don't know much about Yoko Ono other than that she was some sort of activist, but I don't think she constantly whined about break ups that were probably her fault and made money off of it.

...that makes no sense. It's not the same people, even if it is a similar situation. I don't really care either way. Actually, I would prefer it to be yes. I don't like One Direction at all and would not be disappointed in the least if they broke up. I'm tired of the hype.

I can't stand this woman, I can not understand how she keeps winning the country artist of the year award when everything I have heard of her is pop songs.
Yoko at least stayed with Lennon, Taylor is just using Harry to break up the untalented band.

It doesn’t say that they are the new Beatles, It's just comparing Harry's relationship with Taylor to John Lennon's relationship with Yoko. Look at it this way, if they are right and she breaks up the band, you won’t have to hear about them anymore.
